Great place for a big family meal
We were a group of 23 including young children and had agreed to the set menus (regular and vegetarian) for a lunchtime meal. Although, through a misunderstanding, we weren't in the separate room we had expected, the management responded quickly to accommodate our expectations. The food and the service were excellent; generous portion sizes meant we had to ask for takeaway boxes at the end of the meal! It was great to be on our own in the upstairs room where we were not disturbing other diners, especially as many of the family had not seen each other for a long time and wanted to move about; it was also more relaxing for the children.
