meet Ness & Lucy - the managers at escabeche

We spend so much time getting to know you. It's only fair you get to know us too!

With that in mind (and because it's Christmas) we have a special double interview for this month's blog - talking to the top ladies at escabeche.

First off, we've got Ness!

1. Tell us what you do at baresca/escabeche?

I am the General Manager at escabeche, working with heart & soul.

2. What is your favourite dish on the menu?

Tiger prawns with sugar snap peas, honey & chilli. That may change, though, as I’m working through the new menu to discover a new favourite.

3. If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take three things with you, what would they be and why?

- Swiss knife, has various tools and blades on it which would become very useful

- Sunglasses, I literally can’t live without them. I wear them whenever I can.

- David Attenborough, to keep me company as he would be so interesting to talk to about his travels & the planet, and ultimately would kill the boredom!

4. What is your favourite song ever?

Tom Gaebel “It’s a good life”

5. What is your favourite sangria flavour?

I love a good old classic sangria

6. What advice would you give to someone looking to work for the Baresca tapas family?

Embrace the opportunity that’s been given to you and most importantly embrace our company & family values

5. What is your favourite sangria flavour?
