Christmas is coming to the baresca tapas family — 4 reasons why you should book your party with us

Christmas is coming and here’s why you should get your friends and family together around a baresca tapas feast.

Yes, it feels like people talk about Christmas earlier and earlier each year, but this one’s pretty special, so we’ll get involved in the excitement!

It’s the first proper Christmas (pending any Government advice changes) and we can’t wait to get festive with all of our guests. Here’s why you should be one of them.

Unique surroundings

Soak in the atmosphere of our own slice of Barcelona. From the influences of Boqueria market and backstreet bodegas at our Restaurant & Bar Design Award-shortlisted Baresca on Byard Lane, to sitting at our atmospheric, bustling tapas bar at Escabeche in West Bridgford, there’s a lot to love.

We pay so much attention to every detail of your experience, to give you the spirit of the tapas bars we visited in Barcelona that inspired us to create these restaurants to begin with.

Tapas shared tastes better

From the very start, we have always referenced the spirit of Barcelona when it comes to restaurant design but have not been afraid to move away from traditional Spanish dishes and put our own take on tapas, taking influences from all over the world and looking closer to home too using some fabulous, fresh local ingredients.

The December menú del dia includes fan favourites like chicken wings, beetroot, goats cheese & thyme coca flatbread, sweetcorn & black bean empanadillas and so much more. You can also enjoy some great options like lamb koftas, our incredible sticky PX beef and our gem salad with local Colston Bassett stilton.

Sangrias for spirit: literally and metaphorically

Of course, we serve our range of sangrias all year round, but it becomes a one-of-a-kind treat around the festive period.

In a sea of wintry cocktails, choose from our classic sangria, raspberry & limoncello, or mango & passion fruit.

Make memories after a long time apart

This one isn’t necessarily a specific selling point, but it’s an important one.

You don’t realise the importance of moments with family and friends at Christmas until the idea is taken off the table. That is why this year is unlike any other. So, seize every opportunity you can to get together, and over a table of tasty tapas is a pretty good way to do so!
