It has been amazing to see the level of positive feedback for our tapas takeaway service at baresca.
All kinds of descriptive terms were thrown about, but our favourite has to be from Kel Fields – calling it “bloomin’ spot on.” Straight to the point!
After a hectic first few weeks we now feel confident to expand the menu and make a few tweaks to showcase even more of our favourite tapas dishes for you to enjoy at home…
On the food front we’ve added more dishes and a range of excellent value tapas selection boxes; as for the drinks we’ve made a few product additions, but most importantly we also now offer a range of our freshly made sangrias.
Our homemade mixes are now available bottled and ready to enjoy as part of your tapas takeaway feast. Ensure you’ve got our baresca app downloaded to make ordering that bit simpler.
With Baresca up and running on the takeaway front, it has naturally caused many of you to ask one simple question – “is escabeche getting a takeaway service?”
The answer was always going to be a resounding “yes,” but we wanted to do something different. With our city centre restaurant being so close that most of West Bridgford is covered in the delivery radius, this gives us a unique opportunity to experiment and create something new at our neighbourhood location.
Then the idea hit us – the escabeche Sunday roasts you know and love, available to takeaway. It works really well at our sister restaurant Perkins Bar & Bistro, so we’re taking the formula and adding a little Catalan spirit to the dishes.

The online shop will open every Monday at 9am
Get your orders in by Friday at 7pm for takeaway collection on the Sunday
